Student Clubs
Objective
To create a dynamic and student-centric environment that fosters leadership, skill enhancement, cross-functional collaboration, and holistic growth by forming specialized student clubs under diverse categories. These clubs will serve as platforms for experiential learning and continuous engagement across both MBA Sem I and Sem III students.

- Identification: All members will wear official club badges and receive certificates of participation.
- Selection: Through open applications and interviews conducted at the beginning of the academic year.
List of Clubs & Their Functions
1. Health & Wellness Club – “Aarogyam”
Objective:
Promote physical and mental well-being among students and staff.
Key Activities:
- Organize yoga/meditation and stress management sessions.
- Conduct health check-up camps and blood donation drives.
- Run fitness and wellness challenges.
- Mental health awareness workshops.


2. Finance Club – “FINEX”
Objective:
Develop financial literacy and investment awareness among students.
Key Activities:
- Sessions with finance professionals (CA, CFA, Bankers).
- Personal finance and mutual fund awareness drives.
- Finance quizzes
3. Marketing Club – “MAX”
Objective:
Enhance practical marketing knowledge and branding skills.
Key Activities:

Brand simulation games and advertising contests.
- Guest lectures from marketing professionals.
- Social media marketing campaigns for college events.


4. Internship & Placement Club
– “Career Launchpad”
Objective:
Support students in preparing for summer internships and final placements.
Key Activities:
- Resume-building and LinkedIn workshops.
- Mock GD-PI sessions with HR professionals.
- Alumni panels on placement preparation.
- Industry connect programs and placement readiness series.
5. Alumni Club – “ANTARANG”
Objective:
Strengthen alumni relations and mentorship opportunities.
Key Activities:
- Organize annual alumni meet and virtual reunions.
- Collect and update alumni directory.
- Monthly "Alumni Talks" from various sectors.
Initiate alumni mentorship pairing with current students.


6. Academic & Research Club – “Prashikshan”
Objective:
Foster academic curiosity, research, and analytical skills.
Key Activities:
- Organize research paper writing competitions.
- Monthly journal/book review meets.
- Paper presentations, debate series, and national paper submissions.
7. Media Club – “Lens & Lines”
Objective:
Document, narrate, and archive institutional memories and milestones.
Key Activities:
- Photography, video coverage, and after-event report writing.
- Develop LJIMS newsletter and event documentation.
- Collaborate with Social Media Club for posts.
- Develop college event highlight reels.


8. Social Media Club – “Digital
Pulse”
Objective:
Enhance digital presence and branding of the institute.
Key Activities:
- Manage college’s Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube content.
- Run weekly content calendars and event countdowns.
- Meme marketing and creative reels competition.
Organize Canva/poster-making workshops.
9. Cultural Club – “Rangmanch”
Objective:
Celebrate cultural diversity and talents of students.
Key Activities:
- Host fresher’s, farewell, Garba, Diwali & other celebrations.
- Organize singing, dance, drama, and fashion show events.
- Manage participation in inter-college cultural fests.


10. Hospitality Club – “Atithya”
Objective:
Manage welcoming, guest care, and event logistics.
Key Activities:
- Coordinate guest management for seminars & fests.
- Plan food and seating logistics for college events.
- Set up and support execution of internal and external events.
- Host and anchor major college functions.
11. HR Club – “HRX”
Objective:
Cultivate leadership, interpersonal, and HR management skills.
Key Activities:
- Organize mock recruitment and psychometric test workshops.
- Conduct team-building games, role-plays & case studies.
- Host HR conclaves and webinars with HR leaders.
- Develop an LJIMS HR Journal and student opinion polls.


12. Entrepreneurship Club – “CRADLE”
Objective:
Foster innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurial
thinking among MBA students, encouraging them to explore and launch their own
ventures.
Key Activities:
- Organize startup ideation workshops and pitch competitions
- Conduct business plan development sessions and investor pitch simulations
- Host guest lectures with successful entrepreneurs and incubator heads
- Collaborate with CRADLE and other incubation centers for mentorship
- Facilitate visits to local startups, accelerators, and incubation centers
- Celebrate “Entrepreneurship Week” with events, panels, and demo days
- Maintain a startup idea bank and connect students with funding opportunities
- Provide guidance on government schemes for entrepreneurs (e.g., Startup India, MSME loans)
