1. Welcome Address:
The Chairperson, Dr. Viral Shah, welcomed all members of the Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) and outlined the objectives of the meeting.
Review of Previous Grievances:
2. The committee discussed the status of grievances from the previous meeting:
Grievance ID 101 Status: Resolved
3. Discussion of New Grievances:
The committee received 1 new grievance for review and resolution.
- Grievance 102:
Requirement of Study Materials
Issue: Students reported a lack of textbooks in the library for a core subject.
Action: The library was instructed to purchase additional copies immediately.
4. Recommendations and Resolutions:
The committee suggested the following actions to address unresolved grievances:
- Grievance ID 102: New books were made available within a month.
5. Preventive Measures for Ragging and Awareness Programs:
The committee agreed to organize anti-ragging awareness session by in-house faculties.
Students can meet reporting faculties to register their complaints or they can call/mail them for same. 6. Action Plan for New Complaints:
No new complaints were reported. Surprise checks and interaction with first-year students were also planned.
6. Conclusion and Next Meeting:
The Chairperson thanked all members for their participation. The meeting concluded with a unanimous decision to regularly revise and add books in library as per the coursework demand. The next meeting shall be scheduled after 6 months from now as per the suitability of all members.
