Eligibility

The admissions process is conducted by the Admissions Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat. The process begins in the month of June every year. Student can follow the link

Eligibility Criteria:

The Institute has an intake of 498 students each year. The admission to the two-year MBA program is through a competitive entrance examination, conducted by the CMAT-AICTE every year.

Gujarat Candidate :

  • 50 % in graduation for open category 

  • 45 % for – SC/ST/SEBC/EWS

  • Graduation or HSC should be from recognized school/college/university in Gujarat

Out State Candidate :

  • 50 % in graduation 

  • Graduation and HSC both should be from recognized school/college/university not from Gujarat

The minimum academic requirement to get admission to the MBA program is of 50% marks for open category and 45% marks for the reservation category in any of the graduate streams. Post graduates may also apply.

Candidates awaiting their results may also apply, provided they clear their exam with the requisite marks before a specified date.


Process

a. Admission Counselling

-Each and every candidate will be given a handout/ brochure constituting the details of the institute at the time of admission inquiry.

-The members of admission committee who are faculty members shall guide the students and solve their queries pertaining to the admission at the institute.

-Candidate Screening Process shall be conducted (If applicants are more than number of seats available)for Management Quota (MQ) & Vacant Quota (VQ)

-A unique code shall be allotted to each candidate at the time of inquiry for admission. The details of the candidate will be stored in master data file for an easy access at institute.

-The candidates are shortlisted on following academic criteria

1. Score of CMAT or any other competitive examination

2. Graduation Percentage

-Final merit list will be prepared and displayed on institutes notice board/ website.

-Students will be informed and invited for final documentation verification/ submission and payment of fees.

-Candidates obtaining admission under Management Quota and Vacant Quota who could not present all the required mark sheets, certificates and documents at the time of admission screening shall be given within fifteen days, once their admission has been confirmed.

-Each candidate taking admission shall submit an undertaking. Undertaking shall cover following points

 

1)The candidate is duly bound by rules/ regulations prescribed by GTU/ ACPC/ UGC/ AICTE/ Govt. Gujarat/ Institute or any other regulatory body which may change from time to time regarding

 i) Various Fees (Exam, enrolment, library, tuition etc.),        

ii) Admission Eligibility Criteria

iii) Ragging

iv) Sexual Harassment

b)Cancellation of Admission:

i) Admission if cancelled due to any reason DURING admission procedure can be cancelled and refund of fees deposited will be made after deduction of processing fees of Rs. 1000/-.

ii) Admission if cancelled due to any reason AFTER admission procedure is over, fees deposited for first year will not be refunded.

c)Once the institute/ section allotted to a student, it shall not be changed. Allotment of institute/ sections and any changes pertaining to the same will be subject to the institution’s discretion.

 

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR NON ACPC STUDENTS (Vacant Quota)

  • It shall involve the following process:

  • Basic Counselling - The candidate would be given all the information about College, fee structure and admission process

  • The Candidate shall fill an inquiry form and an inquiry form number is given to him/her for future reference.

  • The same information is recorded in soft copy as well

  • The Candidate has to pay the Rs.50000 by Cheque and fill Admission form and record of which would be maintained in soft copy as well.

  • The Candidate has to get the necessary documents verified and submita copy of the documents to the institute.

  • Once the admission is confirmed the candidate would be called forthe Institute orientation process.
